Total Eclipse of the Moon

I stayed up late on Sunday night / Monday morning to observe the total eclipse of the moon - which first appeared around dusk above the hills of Santa Marta shining its light onto the music/ food stalls which Tintin is moored close to.  As the eclipse progressed to 'totality' the surface of the moon did appear deep red… my camera refused to focus on it at that stage, nonetheless the images below give an idea of the spectacle.
